The country is crossed by the Rift Valley. This valley is due to the continental plates which deviated 11 million years ago.
It's stretched on several thousands of kilometers letting appear high plateaus, where coffees and teas push. On the crow of this great rift, extinct volcanos gave a great fertility on the ground which are still exploited.
